An approved participant in WOL may fundraise as an individual participant OR fundraise together with ONE team. To be recognized as part of a team you must be registered as a team online.
A team is made up of participants who choose to raise money collectively. Every team must designate a Captain who will be the team’s contact person for purposes of donations. The Captain must register each team member online.
All donations received by one of the TEAM members will be counted for the TEAM’s collective account. Each team must raise enough to cover the minimum of the sum of all the fundraising obligations of its members.
Family Team - If the team consists exclusively of immediate family members where ALL members are relatives of the first order (parent-child, siblings, spouses, Grandparent/Grandchild), the sponsorship commitment is $2,000 for the Captain and an additional minimum amount of $1,800 US for each additional immediate family member above the age of 21 riding the 5-day WOL . Each additional immediate family member under the age of 21 riding the 5-day WOL is committed to raise $1500.
It's possible to create a mixed fundraising team of WOL, Volunteer and GalgALYN participants.
