Aim of Sponsorships
ALYN Hospital is an officially registered non-profit facility rehabilitating children and adolescents who are suffering from congenital or acquired conditions which include head trauma, injuries sustained in road or domestic accidents, terror attacks and children recovering from operations for the removal of benign or malignant tumors.
Only a portion of every child’s care is reimbursed by the Israeli Health Funds or other referring agencies. WOL sponsorships help to meet the shortfall between the actual cost of ALYN’s exemplary multidisciplinary rehabilitation treatment and the officially fixed reimbursement payments received for each child hospitalized in our in-patient Rehabilitation Unit, intensive care Respiratory Rehabilitation Unit or who attends our Day Care Center SHACHAR.
This shortfall is approximately $95per day per child!!!
ALYN Hospital is dependent on WOL sponsorships to ensure that we can continue to give both the deserving physically challenged children in our care today – and those who will be in our care tomorrow – every chance to reach their maximum potential and, where possible, become independent and contributing citizens of Israel.

Participating in Wheels of Love is your unique opportunity to introduce family, friends and business colleagues to the incredible children of ALYN. Participants are encouraged to write to as many potential donors as possible and are encouraged to bring in multiple sponsorships and increase awareness of ALYN and its wonderful work. Sample letters and information about ALYN are available online for you to copy or edit. In addition, a story about a child treated at ALYN will be included in each contact letter. The Public Relations office at ALYN Hospital in Israel and the NY office of the American Friends of ALYN (AFA) and the Canadian Friends of ALYN, have materials and ideas to help support your fundraising efforts in any way they can. North Americans please contact the American Friends of ALYN, while all others should contact the WOL office in Israel. Israeli participants can obtain pre-printed receipt books from the WOL office in Israel. The majority of past participants set their own high goals and have surpassed them consistently – the average sponsorship raised is over $5,000, with a few participants bringing in over $20,000 each -- that is how the Bike Riders and volunteer support staff of 2009 raised over $2,250,000!
Corporate Sponsorship
Businesses and corporations typically have funds earmarked for charity and/or public and community relations. Wheels of Love offers many wonderful public relations opportunities in exchange for Corporate Sponsorship contributions, either in cash or in-kind. There are many components of the Ride available for sponsorship which allows donor companies to associate themselves with the Ride at various sponsorship levels.
If you know of a key person in a corporation please tell them about the possibility of becoming a Corporate Sponsor.
Please contact the Wheels of Love Project Manager, Erez Ezrachi, who will negotiate with the company and then YOU will receive full credit towards your fundraising for any money or goods brought in for the Ride.
